The installation of the new artificial turf field at Finley Stadium is nearing completion. The playing surface at the home of UTC football and soccer is in the process of receiving an upgrade and will be ready for play in time for the Mocs Spring Game on April 18. 

The new field features a unique color-scheme that includes a primary blue surface with gold lines and numbers.  The endzones are gold with the blue “Chattanooga” wordmark logo on each end.  The traditional Power C logo is also permanently displayed in the center of the field. 

“Everything is moving along right on schedule,” stated Finley Stadium Executive Director Paul Smith.  “We have received tons of positive feedback about the blue turf and I think the gold lines really stand out.  Fans will really enjoy this one-of-a-kind look when it is all finished.”

Fans can get a glimpse of the blue turf at the next spring scrimmage on Friday, April 10.  The Spring Game is Saturday, April 18, at 2:00 p.m.  To see some photos of the new blue turf installation, click here.
