Thomas Finishes in Tie for Second at North Georgia Invitational
Rising junior Brooks Thomas kept up his fine play in area tournaments. He recently tied for second with a familiar face at the North Georgia Invitational at Dalton Country Club. Thomas matched former Mocs star Ben Rickett, who is now head coach at Dalton State. The duo finished a stroke behind Rickett's prize pupil Sean Elliott who was fresh off winning the NAIA National Championship. It was a rain-shortened event with the final round washed out.
