CHATTANOOGA vs. UNCG
The Spartans and Mocs have played 20 matches since 1997 with UNCG leading the series 16-3-1.  UTC's last win against the Spartans was in 2005. The Spartans have won 11 straight against Chattanooga. In Virginia, the Mocs have won once and tied one time.

SCOUTING CHATTANOOGA | Head Coach Gavin McKinney, second season
The Mocs are 6-9-2 overall and 4-3-1 in the Southern Conference and fifth in the standings. Chattanooga earned a 2-2 tie with the Bucs last week and then edged Western Carolina 1-0 on a goal from senior Hannah Wyatt on Senior Day. Six wins is the most by a UTC team since 2011 (6-10-2) and four SoCon wins is the most since the Mocs went 5-5 in 2005. UTC fell 1-0 to VMI on the road Friday night.
 
The Mocs have scored 23 goals so far this season, averaging 1.35 per game and are averaging 11.4 shots per game with a .119 shots percentage and a .513 shots on goal percentage. Twelve of UTC's games have been decided by one goal or less.
 
Peyton McCollum has a team-best 13 points on four goals and leads the Mocs with five assists. Ellie Myrick has a team-high five goals and along with two assists, is second on the team with 12 points. Jordan Mueller recorded her first multi-goal game in the Mocs' tie with ETSU and is third on the team in scoring with eight points on four goals. McKenzie Gregg has a team-best five assists and is fifth in scoring with seven points while Hannah Torbett, with two goals and four assists is tied with Mueller for third. In goal, freshman Melia Correa and senior Katie Emig have share time. Emig has a 4-2 overall record with three shutouts while Correa has a .726 save percentage and a 1.75 goals against average in 11 starts. 

SCOUTING UNCG | Head Coach Michael Coll, third season 
The Spartans are 6-10-2 overall and 3-4-1 in Southern Conference play. UNCG posted a 4-0 win over a then-undefeated Furman, and after falling 1-0 at ETSU, defeated Western Carolina and The Citadel. In its last outing, UNCG fell 1-0 in overtime to league-leading Samford.at home.
 
Melanie Spensiero leads the team with 11 points on five goals and one assist. She has three game winning goals. Diarra Simmons, Caylin Prillaman and Cienna Riedeout each have three goals while Simmons and Melissa Canizalez each have a team-best two assists. In goal Chloe Buehler has started all 18 matches with 92 saves (.814 save pct) and allowed 21 goals for a  1.15 goals against average. She has five shutouts and shared in a sixth.
