Mocs Drop Match at Tennessee Tech

UTC hosts three matches at the Champions Club this weekend.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team dropped a 6-1 match at Tennessee Tech this afternoon. The Mocs fall to 3-4 overall while the Golden Eagles improved their record to 2-2.
UTC scored one win in singles at No. 3. Senior Nick Wingord and freshman Pablo Llebeili posted a 6-1 victory against Jorge Alfonso and Carlos Tajes.
Chattanooga also got one win in singles, a three-set victory at No. 2. Junior Lucas Plesky defeated Alex Arovin (3-6, 6-2, 6-1).
There was also a three-set match at No. 5. Junior Derek Brown lost to Jorge Alfonso (6-3, 1-6, 6-3).
UTC returns home for a bust weekend at the Champions Club. The Mocs host North Alabama on Saturday at 1:00 p.m., Alabama State on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and Dalton State later in the afternoon at 2:30 p.m. All three are doubleheaders with the women's teams.
