2015-16 • SENIOR SEASON: Went 12-19 in singles, playing mostly in the middle of the lineup ... had an 8-4 mark at No. 1 doubles with teammate Lucas Plesky ... Second Team All-Southern Conference in doubles ... repeated as the SoCon's Don Bunch/Buddy Hartsell Sportsmanship Award winner ... one of only two Mocs to do so (Jason Ontog 2002 & 2003) ... earned the UTC SVO Leadership Award at the Coca-Cola Scrappy Awards ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the fall. 

2014-15 • JUNIOR SEASON: Became the third Moc to earn the Southern Conference Don Bunch/Buddy Hartsell Sportsmanship Award ... had a 9-15 record in singles play and was 3-1 at No. 4 ... went 12-12 in doubles, including a 6-3 mark at No. 2 ... made the Dean's List and the A.D. Honor Roll in the fall ... made the SoCon Honor Roll. 

2013-14 • SOPHOMORE SEASON: 14-15 overall in singles, including 8-7 at No. 3 … 4-4 in SoCon matches … made the Dean’s List in the fall.     

2012-13 • FRESHMAN SEASON:  Went 4-3 in singles, all in dual action … 2-2 at No. 5 … 0-3 in doubles play. 

PRIOR TO UTC:  Joined the team prior to the 2013 spring season ... 2012 Athlete of the Year at Kings View Academy in Halifax, Nova Scotia ... 12-time Atlantic Junior Champion ... 2012 NB Open Champion ... three-time East Coast Open Champion ... top-6 in Ontario U16 Provincals ... top-16 Canadian national ranking ... one of the top ranked in the Atlatnic Region since U12 ... trained at ACE Tennis in Burlington, Ontario and Bob Brett Tennis Academy in San Remo, Italy.  

PERSONAL:  Native of Halifax, Nova Scotia ... full name is Luke Malicah Saunders ... born Nov. 17, 1993 ... son of Colleen Jones and Scott Saunders ... has an older brother, Zach ... Communications major ... Colleen was a two-time World Curling Champion.
