Mocs Drop SoCon Opener at Wofford

UTC falls 6-1 to the Terriers.
The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team dropped its Southern Conference opener at Wofford this afternoon. The Mocs won a doubles and singles match in the 6-1 loss to the Terriers.
Senior John Peacey and sophomore Derrick Brown scored the doubles win with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 over David Sklar and Trevor Gotkowski. It was their first match together this spring.
Junior Lucas Plesky posted the singles win with a (7-6,6-4) victory against Haris Poric at No. 1. Plesky improves to 15-6 overall and 7-5 in the spring. It is his fourth win in the top spot in dual match competition.
