WEST POINT, Miss.---The Chattanooga Mocs men's golf team finished 13th at the Old Waverly Collegiate Tuesday. The Mocs 907 was two behind Southern Miss in 12th and five clear of West Virginia in 14th.
 
UTC closed with a final round 308. Andrew Weathers led the way with a 1-under par 71. Wes Gosselin's 5-over 77 snapped a streak of six consecutive par or better cards for the junior from Knoxville. Lake Johnson and Kory Webb each tallied 80s to complete the team scoring.
 
Gosselin tied for 14th at 4-over 220. He is now +1 for the spring slate (15 rounds). Weathers and Johnson matched each other at +10, while Webb ended at +20. Brooks Thomas was one behind Webb at +21.
 
McNeese State captured the team title by six over Ole Miss. The Cowboys shot +2 in the win. The Rebels Braden Thornberry was medalist at -7.
 
The Mocs close the regular season in two weeks at the Wolfpack Spring Open. The two-day event is Monday and Tuesday, April 18-19, at Lonnie Poole Golf Course in Raleigh, N.C.
