Admission is FREE to all UTC home soccer matches. Entrane is through the South Gates. West Gate is open Sunday's during the Chattanooga Market hours.Concessions are available. No outside food or drink.
Scouting the Mocs
The Mocs opened the season with a 1-0 loss to Kennesaw State. After allowing a goal in the 14th minute, the Mocs managed to stop the Owl offense and only allowed two shots in the second half. In the preseson the Mocs defeated Belmont 2-0 and went 1-1 at Tennessee Tech. Freshman
Hannah Torbett found the net in each match and transfer
Ellie Myrick scored the Mocs' second point against the Bruins. Chattanooga's lineup is made up of 12 returners and 17 newcomers including three transfers.
Gavin McKinney enters his second season with assistant coaches
Martyn Blankley (2nd season) and
Hemant Sharma (1st season) along with volunteer assistant Gerry Armburster also in his first year.
Scouting the Bulldogs
Alabama A&M, led by Frank Davies in his 18th season, fell 6-0 to Mercer of the Southern Conference in their season opener. The team has 17 returning players and seven freshmen.
Mocs vs. Bulldogs
The Mocs and Bulldogs have met eight times with UTC holding a slim 4-3-1 advantage. Last season the Mocs earned a 4-0 shutout on the road.
