CHATTANOOGA vs. ALABAMA
The Mocs and Tide have met five times with Alabama holding a 4-1 advantage. This will be just the second time Alabama has visited Chattanooga. At home, the Tide lead the series 1-0. On the road the Mocs are 1-3 with a 2-0 victory in Tuscaloosa.
CHATTANOOGA STORY LINES
• Chattanooga is 1-2 on the year. UTC's win was an 8-0 affair at home against Alabama A&M.
• Eight goals, seven assists and 23 points against Alabama A&M are all second on the Mocs' single game record list.

Peyton McCollum and
Ellie Myrick each have a team-high two goals. McCollum leads the team in scoring with six points. She and
McKenzie Gregg each have a team-best two assists.
• The Mocs went 1-0-1 in the preseason with a tie at Tennessee Tech and then coming home to post a 2-0 defeat of Belmont.
• There are 17 newcomers - including transfers and freshmen - on the 2016 roster.
• 12 veterans returned from the 2015 squad.

Hannah Torbett scored in each of the Mocs' two preseason exhibition matches.
• The Mocs were picked to finish eighth in the preseason coaches' poll after finishing eighth last season.

SCOUTING THE TIDE
• Alabama is 3-0 with wins over Sam Houston State, Murray State and Campbell, all at home.
• The Tide have outscored opponents 13-2 with two shutouts, averaging 4.33 goals per game.
• Lacey Clarida has a team-best five goals and leads the team in scoring along with Abbie Boswell who has 10 points, three goals and four assists.
