Rodney Chatman knotted the score at 42 with two free throws on the next possession. Makinde London followed with a layup a minute later to swing the lead back to the Mocs. The two teams swapped turnovers before Daniel Fowler drilled a triple to wrestle the lead back to 45-44 Furman.

London had the answer 17 seconds later. He sparked an 11-0 run with a 3pt from the right side of the key. The 2:18 spurt ended with London calmly sinking two free throws. The Paladins never got closer than seven the rest of the way.
