Box Score The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team scored a 5-2 win over Tennessee Wesleyan at the Champions Club today.  The Mocs won the double point and four of the six singles matches in today's victory. 

"Today was a very good team win for us against a tough and well-coached program," stated UTC head coach Carlos Garcia. "Tennessee Wesleyan came to play right from the start and I was proud of how my doubles teams responded by earning a hard fought doubles point.  We continued to lean on them in singles to earn the win."

Senior Lucas Plesky and freshman Niklas Gerdes posted a 7-5 win at No. 1, while senior Nic Wilson and sophomore Pablo Llebeili won 6-1 at No. 2. 

Pleskey scored a three-set comeback win at No. 1 singles while Gerdes won in straight sets at No. 2.  The Mocs also got wins from Wilson at No. 3 and junior Michael Birnbaum at No. 6. 

UTC improved to 5-11 overall while the Bulldogs, ranked No. 21 in this week's NAIA Top-25, dropped to 6-2.  Up next for the Mocs is a SoCon Saturday match against ETSU at the Champions Club.
