CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs softball team finally returns to Frost Stadium after a 34 day absence as they are set to host Southern Conference foe Samford in a three-game series on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday will feature a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m. and Sunday will be a single game with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m.
The Mocs picked up a 6-5 win over Tennessee State on Wednesday and improved their record to 11-22 overall. They are 1-2 in the SoCon after last weekend's series at Mercer. Full weekend preview including notes, ticket information & more can be found below.

The weekend is full of promotional items as Saturday will feature FREE t-shirts to the first 50 fans, power 'C' logo socks to first 25 students and post-game autographs from the Mocs softball team. Opponent Preview | Samford Bulldogs (11-24, 1-2 SoCon)
Samford has dropped six of their last seven games after registering three-straight wins at the UT-Martin Tournament on March 18-19. They most recently fell to Kennesaw State, 9-1 (5), in a home game on Wednesday. They opened up Southern Conference play last weekend with a home series against Furman, picking up a 5-4 win in the middle game of the three-part series. The Bulldogs are led by Shelby Maze, who leads the SoCon with a .463 batting average, while ranking 2nd in all NCAA DI with 56 hits.
