CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs softball team will head north on I-75 this weekend for a key three-game Southern Conference series against ETSU in Johnson City on Friday and Saturday.

Friday will feature a doubleheader beginning at 4 p.m. and Saturday will be a single game with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Mocs are coming off a 7-4 victory over Western Carolina on Sunday and hold a 12-27 overall record while playing to a 2-7 mark in SoCon action. ETSU is currently 17-19, 3-3 in conference play. Full game preview including coverage information can be found below.

Opponent Preview | ETSU (17-19, 3-3 SoCon)
East Tennessee State is coming off a 1-2 weekend after dropping a pair of games and picking up a win on the road against Samford. They took two of three home games against Mercer the weekend before, and now own a 3-3 SoCon record. The Bucs have allowed two runs or less in eight of their last thirteen games including five of the last six SoCon games. They're 6-2 in those eight games. Tiffany Laughren leads the Bucs with a .390 average and 12 doubles while Madison Ogle has a 3.06 ERA in 21 appearances, 17 starts.
