Chattanooga is 1-5 against Alabama. The Mocs posted a 2-0 victory over the Tide in 2004 in Tuscaloosa. UTC's all-time leading scorer Diana Jallo scored both goals in the win and was named to the Soccer America National Team of the Week. ABOUT THE MOCS (2-4-2, 0-0 SoCon)
After winning its season opener against Austin Peay, the Mocs have had to dig deep for their second win. It came last weekend on the road at Alabama A&M. Along with the pair of wins, the Mocs have two ties.
 
Chattanooga has seven goals on the season on 73 shots for a .88 goals per game percentage. The Mocs have 39 shots on goal for a .534 shots on goal percentage and average 9.1 shots per game. UTC is 1-for-1 on penalty kicks while opponents have just one of 2. The Mocs have allowed 14 goals (1.75/game) on 139 shots.
 
Jordan Mueller leads the team with eight points, making three goals and assisting on two game winners. Catherine Meyer has two goals, both game winners, after sitting out her freshman season with a knee injury last year. Freshman Chloe Arnold is 1-of-1 on penalty kicks and second on the team with two goals.
 
Sophomore keeper Melia Correa has started five games for Chattanooga. She has 36 saves in 490 minutes in goal for a .783 saves percentage. She has allowed 10 goals for a 1.84 goals against average.
 
ABOUT THE TIDE (7-1-0)
Alabama is ranked 19th in the Soccer America Top 25 Poll. The Tide is also receiving votes in the TopDrawerSoccer.com and NSCAA's Top 25 rankings and moved up two spots to No. 6 in the NSCAA Southeast Region poll.
 
The Tide have 18 goals thorugh eight matches this season while allowing just six on 73 shots. Alabama averages 18.1 shots per game and is 1-for-1 on PKs. The team has three shutouts so far this season and has allowed two goals just once, in its 2-1 overtime loss to South Florida in the second week.
 
Emma Welch leads the team with nine points and a team-best five assists. Abbie Boswell and Taylor Morgan lead the Tide with three goals apiece while three more have connected twice. LAST TIME OUT
The Mocs recorded a 1-0 victory at Alabama A&M before falling two days later, 2-0, at Georgia State. Catherine Meyer scored the game winner for Chattanooga against the Bulldogs in the 81st minute to secure UTC's second win of the year. On Sunday, the Panthers scored the game winner early then secured the win on a goal midway through the second half.
