Freshman Dorota Zalewska and the Chattanooga Mocs take on a solid field at Louisville’s Cardinal Classic this weekend.

CHATTANOOGA---The Chattanooga Mocs women's golf team is back on the tee this weekend at the Cardinal Classic. The 14-team field tackles UofL Golf Club playing 36 holes Saturday before a final 18 on Sunday.
Coach Colette Murray is taking six to the event with one individual joining the starting five. Monica San Juan, Maddy McDanel, Rheagan Hall and Dorota Zalewska return as starters joined by sophomore Michaela Kulhankova making her first collegiate start. Kirsty Beckwith competes as an individual.
Kulhankova was an individual last time out at the Princess Anne Invitational. Her tie for 39th was fourth on the squad. The 224 tally over 54 holes is tied for the fifth-best 54-hole number through three events.
McDanel, San Juan and Hall took big strides themselves tying or setting new career lows for 18, 36 and 54-hole scoring. McDanel posted her first top 5 tying for third at -2. San Juan notched her first top 10 of the campaign tying for eighth.
