ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
The Mocs are experiencing their best season since the 2005 campaign with and 8-6-2 overall mark and a 4-2-1 league record. Seven of Chattanooga's wins this season have come by way of shutout.
Chloe Arnold is second in the SoCon standings with 11 goals and 27 points. She has four multi-goal games for the Mocs and three game winning goals.
Masey Fox, with three goals, is second on the team in scoring with 10 points, three goals and four assists.
Ashton Shields leads the conference with a 0.60 goals-against average and a .875 saves percentage. She leads the SoCon with six of the Mocs' shutouts this season.
ABOUT VMI
The Keydets went through non-conference play unbeaten with a 6-0-1 mark. However, once in SoCon play, VMI has yet to record a victory. VMI is 6-8-1 and 0-8 against the league with just three losses by shuout.
Sierra Brewer leads the team with 11 points spurred on by a team-high five goals. Julianne Knoblett and Blake Cashin each have three goals and two assists for eight points while Kiley Cooper and Sam Franklin each have contributed three goals and are fourth on the team in scoring with six points. Brewer and Knoblitt each have two game winning goals while Franklin and Taylor Callahan each have one.
Ceci Keppeler has made 10 starts in goal for VMI with appearances in 12 matches. She ranks in the Top 10 of the SoCon keeper standings with a 1.17 goals against average, 49 saves and is tied for second in the league with five shutouts.
Friday night's game at UNCG will kick off at 7:00 p.m. The match will be carried live in ESPN+ and live stats will be available. On Sunday, VMI will have live stats for the match at 2:00 p.m.
All results will be available online at GoMocs.com following each game. Once the final game is decided, the league will release the official SoCon Tournament bracket. The first and quarterfinal rounds will be played at home sites, hosted by the higher seed. The semifinal and final will be hosted by Mercer on November 2 and 4 in Macon, Ga.
