Wil Young, Sr.-WR
On lack of offense being frustrating.
"It was, we really went out and carried the ball early on, ao we thought we would carry that momentum throughout the entire game, but we kind of lost it and never got it back up."

On what might need to change on offense.
"No changes really, we made some mistakes that are fixable so it's just about cleaning that up. We just need to correct those mistakes but I don't think we are looking to change anything."

On reaching season-long goals.
"We want to take it one game at a time, we know the goals we set as a team and some of them are still out there, but the ball needs to go our way moving forward. We are really just taking it one game at a time and trying to control what we can control and hope that it plays out in our favor."

Tom Arth, Head Coach
On recap of 21-10 loss to No. 6 Wofford.
"Our Offense started out strong and then our defense struggled. Then our defense would start making stops and then our offense would struggle. It is the nature of playing a tough opponent because you don't expect it to be easy and you don't want it to be easy. We had a lot of opportunities on both sides of the ball and we did not capitalize on those opportunities. Every one of us needs to be more consistent throughout the game."

On struggles of the running game against Wofford.
"We don't have a set number of runs we have, but we want to get the ball in our player maker's hands. For our offense to work consistently, they need to be able to run the football. We are not team build to drop back and throw the ball 40-50 times a game. We are going to emphasize the run game in practice this week."

On Western Carolina
"I certainly remember the game from last year and the team does as well, but motivation and incentives do not win football games. We certainly have to play better to give us an opportunity to win and at the end of the day, we cannot rely on emotion for us to be successful. Looking at this year, they have a lot of outstanding skill players on that team. Offensively they present a great challenge and with their quarterback, they are capable of hurting us with their legs."

D.J. Jackson, Sr.-DB
On what to take away from Wofford loss.
"I think you have to see it as being a positive and negative at the same time. We are a good team, but we made some mistakes offensively and defensively. Hopefully, we can correct those mistakes and perform better in the next game."

On Western Carolina offense.
"Yeah they put a lot on us last year and I am sure they will try that same offense on us this year. I think Coach Feeney has a great defensive plan to help stop the points. This is a great test for our defense and a test that will give us opportunities for turnovers."
