TEAM
- The Mocs dropped a 16-10 Southern Conference contest at Furman today … UTC falls to 6-3 overall and 4-3 in league play … Furman improves to 4-4 and 4-2 in league play. 

- The Mocs were without defensive starters Derek Mahaffey (Sr.-DL - Suspended following ejection vs. VMI) and Brandon Dowdell (So.-DB – Hamstring). 

- UTC had one four in a row at Furman coming into the game … UTC is 11-13 all-time at Furman … 19-29 in the series overall.

- Furman kicker Grayson Atkins had the longest FG (50), longest punt (51) and most FGs (3) against the Mocs this season.

- 13 tackles by Furman's Elijah McKoy and 2.5 sacks and TFLs by the Paladin's Adrian Hope were the most against UTC this season.

- UTC's defense only allowed Furman in the red zone once today … season low for the Mocs D. 

- Chattanooga held Furman to 279 yards of total offense (183 rush/96 pass) … second time this season the Mocs have held an opponent under 300 yards … other was 265 at ETSU … both on the road … both losses. 

- UTC was 0-3 on fourth down … Furman was 3-4 … all three conversions were on a 20-play drive in the third/fourth quarter that took over 10 minutes off the clock and ended in a field goal. 

-  Two fumble recoveries today were the 18th and 19th takeaways of the season for the Mocs. They now have nine fumble recoveries.

Michael Bean – Jr.-LB
- Team-high 12 tackles and a hurry.
- Second game with 10+ tackles.

Marshall Cooper – Jr.-LB
- 11 tackles.
- Third game this season with 10+.

Rashun Freeman – So.-DB
- Recovered the fumble in the fourth quarter. 
- First of his career.
- Added a tackle.

Ian Hayes – Jr.-LB
- Forced the fumble on the kickoff to start the second half. 
- Added a tackle.

Jerrell Lawson – So.-DB
- Recovered the fumble on the kickoff to start the second half.
- Added two tackles.
- Second takeaway of the season … pick-6 vs. Tennessee Tech.

Tavon Lawson – Sr.-LB
- Season-high nine tackles.

Isaiah Mack – Sr.-DL
- Eight tackles and two forced fumbles. 
- Sack and forced fumble in the first quarter.
- 6.5 sacks in the last three games … 7.5 on the year is second in the SoCon.
- 20^th sack of his career … fourth all-time at UTC behind Davis Tull (37.0, 2011-14) and Keionta Davis (31.0, 2013-16) and Josh Williams (23.5, 2009-12). 
- 40^th TFL of his career … third all-time at UTC behind Davis Tull (60.0, 2011-14) and Keionta Davis (43.0, 2013-16).

Devonnsha Maxwell – Fr.-DL
- Season-high nine tackles.
- Previous high was four. 

Bingo Morton – Sr.-WR
- Season-high four catches for 33 yards and a TD.
- First score of the season … sixth of his career.

Bryce Nunnelly – So.-WR
- Eight catches for 52 yards.
- 68 catches for 1,005 receiving yards.
- Fourth player in school history with 1,000-receiving yards in a season.
- Joins Joel Bradford (1,284, 2010), Alonzo Nix (1,060, 2003) and Richmond Flowers (1,035, 2000).
- Seventh in single-season receptions.
 
Nick Tiano – Jr.-QB
- 25-37 passing for 154 yards, one TD and one INT.
- 10 carries for a team-high 40 yards.
- 2,267 passing yards in 2018 ... passed Kenyon Earl (2,233, 1993), Mickey Brokas (2,195, 1971) and Jacob Huesman (2,117, 2015) today.
- 233 yards from becoming the seventh Moc with 2,500 or more in a campaign.
- 2,506 yards of total offense passes Kenony Earl (1993) for ninth on the Mocs' single-season list. 
- 15 passing TDs against 5 INTs.

Victor Ulmo – So.-K
- 23-yard FG in the third quarter.
- 9-13 (69.2%) for the year.
- 18-23 (72%) for his career … fifth-best career % at UTC.
