- The Mocs posted a 79-48 win over Bryan College (Dayton, Tenn.) today … UTC improved to 6-8 overall while the Lions dropped to 6-8.
- This is the 13th meeting between the schools separated by less than 40 miles. It's an "old-school" matchup. All 12 prior battles came in the 1960s with the last coming in the 1968-69 campaign.  Mocs lead the series 12-1.
- Chattanooga shot 57.7% (15-26) from the field and 58.3% (7-12) from three in the first half to take a 39-23 lead at the break.
- UTC kept Bryan from scoring a FG for the final 6:03 of the game.
- Mocs shot 11-23 from three (47.8%) … fifth time in last six games with 10+ threes … sixth of the year.
- Shot 32-62 (51.6%) from the field … second-highest percentage of the year … second game in a row over 50% … third time this season.
- Only nine turnovers in the game … third time this season with less than 10 … Bryan did not score on any of UTC's turnovers.
- 45 points allowed today are the fewest against the Mocs since March 1, 2014 when Appalachian State managed 44 in the final regular season game of 2013-14.
- UTC had eight steals in the game … tied for second-highest this season.
- UTC was 4-8 from the FT line today … second lowest makes and attempts this season.
- Mocs committed 12 fouls in the game … second fewest this year.

Kevin Easley – Fr.-F
- Game-high 17 points.
- Shot 7-11 from the field, 3-5 from three.
- Double-figures in 11 of 14 games. 
- Led the Mocs in scoring six times.
- Tied for game-high with nine boards.
- Led the Mocs in rebounds for the seventh time.

Jerry Johnson, Jr. – Jr.-G
- 12 points on 5-10 shooting, 2-6 from three.
- Ninth time in double-figures this season.

Thomas Smallwood – Sr.-C
- 10 points on 4-5 shooting, 2-2 from three.
- Fourth game in double-figures … first since 18 against Cumberland on Nov. 18.
- Added seven boards.

Donovan Toatley – Fr.-G
- 11 points on 4-6 shooting, 2-2 from three and 1-2 from the FT line.
- Sixth game in double-figures.

Ramon Vila – So.-F
- 12 points on 5-8 shooting, 2-4 from the FT line.
- Added three boards in 17 minutes off the bench.
- Tied a season-high for scoring.
- Second game with 10 points in four outings this season.
- Became eligible on Dec. 12.
