- Chattanooga dropped an 85-72 decision at UNCG Saturday evening…fall to 6-9 overall, 1-1 in the Southern Conference…Spartans rise to 13-2, 2-0 in league play.
- The Mocs grabbed just 25 rebounds…fewest since getting just 17 last February against Mercer.
- -5 turnover margin with 17 miscues…also -5 in points off turnovers with 11 compared to UNCG's 16.
- 13 offensive rebounds for the Spartans ties for second-highest by an opponent this season behind 15 at South Alabama…converted into 10 second-chance points by the Spartans.
- Season-high 52.9 percent shooting making 27 of 51 shots…51.4 percent (90-175) over last three games.
- 45 combined fouls but with just 44 combined free throws as each team took 22…Chattanooga made 14 (63.6%), while the Spartans were near perfect at 90.9 percent (20 FTM).
- The Mocs limited UNCG to 38.2 percent (13-34) shooting in the first half but yielded 55.2 percent (16-29) in the second.
