University of Tennessee at Chattanooga head football coach
Tom Arth announced the addition of Greg Harbaugh (Har-bow) to the staff today. He serves as the Mocs' receivers coach.
"We are very excited to welcome Greg and his wife Emily to the Chattanooga family," stated Arth. "Going through the interview process is always exciting because it offers an opportunity to learn and to improve your program. In my experience interviewing, you always hope to meet someone who exceeds your expectations and clearly sets himself apart from the competition. Greg has done that.
"His passion and expertise teaching the intricacies of the wide receiver position, along with his knowledge of offensive football and the different recruiting experiences he has, positions our program very well as we look forward to the coming season and beyond."
Harbaugh comes to UTC from Minnesota where he spent last season as a quality control assistant. Prior to that he was an offensive graduate assistant at Western Michigan.
Harbaugh worked the previous two years at Marietta (Ohio) College. There he was the recruiting coordinator, academic coordinator, video coordinator and passing game coordinator. He also spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Methodist University from 2011-13.
Harbaugh earned a bachelor's degree in Sport Management form Averett University in 2009.
