Sound Off
"I think the challenge going into today was to bring the momentum and the high-level execution that we showed the night before against Wofford with us today. I knew that Furman would have a great response to their result last night. Our kids embraced that challenge and rose exceptionally well with confidence. I thought we came out strong and stayed the course even when Furman made their runs, which shows a lot of growth and improvement.
Â
"I knew this opening weekend would be a tough one and I couldn't be more proud of our team's effort and energy, and finally, I thought our crowds both nights were a huge part of our success."
