TEAM
- The Chattanooga Mocs scored a 73-71 win over The Citadel in McKenzie Arena tonight … UTC evens its record at 10-10 and improves to 5-2 in SoCon action … The Citadel drops to 9-9 and 1-6 in league action.

- Chattanooga equals its win total from all of last season (10-23).

- The Citadel came into the game leading the nation in scoring at 93.4 ppg … 71 points is their second-fewest this season … 23.4 points below their average.

- Mocs are 9-1 when opponents score fewer than 73 points.

- 64-18 all-time against The Citadel … 34-6 in Chattanooga.

- Mocs biggest lead was 13 (45-32) following a Jonathan Scott jumper in the paint with 19:26 left in the game … Citadel went on an 11-0 run and UTC did not score again until Donovan Toatley hit a jumper with 12:18 left in the game.

- The Citadel led 62-58 with 6:49 left to play.

- The Mocs were just 3-6 from the FT line in the final minute of play.

- The Citadel shot 26-69 (42.0%) from the field and 8-37 (21.6%) from three … most FGs and threes attempted by a UTC opponent this season.  The Bulldogs were just 5-12 from the FT line (41.7%).

- Third game in a row UTC has won a game when allowing 70+ points … 0-8 this season prior to that.

- Mocs improve to 3-4 in games decided by single digits … all three wins in the last three games.

- UTC had 18 assists on 26 baskets today … third game in a row with 16+ assists.

- Mocs shot 26-54 (48.1%) from the field … 7-25 (28.0%) from three … 19-29 (65.1%) from inside the arc … only nine of those shots were in the paint, so UTC was hitting a lot of mid-range jumpers.
