The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team posted three wins in main draw action at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals in Nashville, Tenn., today.  The Mocs won one doubles and two singles matches on the opening afternoon of competition.

Sophomore Kerim Hyatt led the way with victories in singles and doubles.  He teamed with senior Simon Bustamante for an impressive opening round win in doubles.  They scored an [8-7 (0)] win over sixth-seeded Billy Rowe and Panu Virtanan of Vanderbilt.  They battled Indiana's Carson Haskins and William Piekarsky in the second round before falling 8-6.

Hyatt's win in singles action came in the first round against Purdue's Sebastain Welch.  He dropped the opening set 1-6, but won the second 6-4 and took the third in a tiebreaker [1-6, 6-4, 7-6 (6)].

The other singles win came from senior Turner Voges.  He defeated Tennessee State's Stefan Koruga 6-2, 6-0.
