Â
UTC finished third last season and selected to finish sixth in the Southern Conference preseason poll this year. The Mocs were one of four teams to have two players named to the preseason all-conference squad.
Â
Chattanooga returns 53.8 percent of its offense from last year including the top two scorers. Bouldin and Williams accounted for 674 of UTC's 1,923 points. Williams was second on the team in rebounding last season as well as steals. Bouldin was the Mocs' top 3-point and free throw shooter last season and became the 29
th member of UTC's 1,000-Point Club.
Â
Burrows begins her second season at the helm and has kept the coaching staff intact for another year. A familiar face on the bench will be student assistantÂ

OCTOBER 30 – HALLOWEEN HOOPS EVENT
Fans, come out to meet your favorite Mocs basketball players before the season gets into full swing!!
Â
On Wednesday, Oct. 30 the Mocs will host a Halloween Hoops Event from 6:30-8 p.m., in the Roundhouse. The event is FREE and open to the public.
Â
It affords young and old a chance to meet, greet and be treated by the student-athletes and coaches of both programs along with Chattanooga's spirit groups. Inflatables, autograph stations, photo ops and shooting with the players are all part of the evening.
Â
There's music, craft tables and poster giveaways. It's also a safe area for kids trick-or-treating with a Halloween Costume Contest judged by the spirit teams. A fun environment for kids, parents and grandparents…uncles, aunts, couples, singles…simply put, everyone.
