University of Tennessee at Chattanooga sophomore
Tomas Rodriguez took home the singles title at the 2019 UTC Steve Baras Fall Classic this weekend. Action concluded on Sunday with UNC-Asheville, Austin Peay, Eastern Illinois and USC-Upstate competing today.
Rodriguez scored 18 points with three singles wins at No. 1. UNC-Asheville's due of Charlie Morkel and Finley Ray McFayden won the doubles title with 15 points. Complete results from the event are

Chuck Merzbacher. "I was pleased with the younger players on our team getting a lot of needed experience in singles and doubles as well as another tournament for our veterans to sharpen up their games.

The Mocs have one more event on the fall schedule. UTC competes in the Pelham Racquet Club Collegiate Invite on Nov. 8-10 in Pelham, Ala.
