Mocs Five Set Effort Falls Short

Chattanooga volleyball had career nights from sophomore Maia Rackel and junior Maddie Halsey but fell just short in a five set road contest.
GREENVILLE, S.C. --- For the sixth time in the last eight matches, the Chattanooga Mocs volleyball team found themselves on the wrong end of a 3-2 (21-25, 27-25, 23-25, 25-21, 15-7) loss, this time on the road at Furman inside Alley Gym in Greenville, S.C on Friday night.
Chattanooga falls to 5-21 overall and 0-13 in SoCon action following the loss. Furman improves to 6-18 and 6-7 against league opponents.

- Sophomore Maia Rackel finished with a career-high 25 kills at a .314% attacking clip on Friday… added nine digs and 3.0 blocks… nine digs mark a new career-high.
