Mocs Return Home to Host Troy Sunday

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. --- The Chattanooga women's basketball team returns home to host Troy for its first game at the McKenzie Arena in December this season. The game, which will tip at 1:30 p.m., will be the first of a double-header with the men's team who will also play host to the Trojans.

One ticket will get you into both games. Please sit in the section indicated on your ticket. If you are holding a women's ticket, please move to the general admission seats for the men's game. If you are holding a men's ticket, please sit in the general admission seats for the women's game. Ushers will check tickets.

MOCS vs. TROJANS
The Mocs have a 3-1 series lead against Troy dating back to 1980 and as recent as 2002. Chattanooga's only loss was in the first meeting between the two programs in 1980 played in Maclellan Gym. In Chattanooga, UTC is 2-1 against Troy.
 
ABOUT CHATTANOOGA              
The Mocs are 1-10 on the year and shooting 32.6 percent from the field. In their last outing, UTC shot 41.2 percent from the field and made 10 3-pointers, second most this season. Six different players hit from range led by Bria Dial's three while Lakelyn Boulidn and Dena Jarrells dropped in two each.
 
Lakelyn Bouldin leads the team with 12.2 points per game and 20 3-pointers. She ranks 20th all-time at UTC with 1,230 points and is the fifth Chattanooga player to record at least 200 3-pointers. Eboni Williams leads the Mocs on the boards with 6.9 per game and has twice had double-digit rebounds. She is second on the team in scoring with 10.4 points per game and has led the Mocs in scoring four times this year. Abbey Cornelius is third on the team in scoring with 8.5 points per game. She has topped the 20-point mark twice this season including a career-high 22 points against Hampton. She got her first career double-double with 11 points and a career-high 11 rebounds at UT Martin and is second on the team with 5.4 rebounds per game.
 
ABOUT TROY
The Trojans are 6-2 on the year and posted a 79-61 win over ETSU in their last outing. Troy is averaging 81.9 points per game and includes a 101-52 win over Fort Valley State in the season-opener. Opponents are averaging 70.9 points per game and Troy is outrebounding its foes 57.6-43.9. The Trojans are shooting 24.9 percent from the 3-point line and averaging 5.5 per game.
 
Jasmine Robinson leads the team with 13.3 points per game and a team-best nine 3-pointers and 23 assists. Japonica James is second on the team with 11.9 points and Kayla Robinson is the third player in double figures with 10.8 per game. Alexus Dye is cleaning up the boards with 9.5 per game including 32 on the offensive end.
 
NOTES
-  Lakelyn Bouldin ranks 20th all-time at UTC with 1,230 points … she became the fifth person in Mocs' history to record at least 200 career 3-pointers.
- Abbey Cornelius and Eboni Williams have each had a double-double for the Mocs this season.
- Sophomore Morgan Hill has missed nine games this season with a foot injury. She made her return to the lineup on Dec. 8 at UT Martin with four minutes on the floor. She had double-digit minutes at South Dakota State and scored her first points of the season.
