CHATTANOOGA --- After heavy rains washed out this weekend's Frost Classic, the Chattanooga Mocs softball team is set to host Eastern Kentucky in a newly scheduled three-game series Sunday and Monday at Frost Stadium.
Chattanooga (8-1) faces EKU (3-5) in a Sunday doubleheader beginning at 1:30 p.m. before wrapping up the series in a Monday matinee at Noon.

Eastern Kentucky returns seven starters to a team that advanced to the National Invitational Softball Championship (NICS) title series in 2018. EKU captured the OVC regular season crown with a 19-3 record in league play while finishing 45-21 overall.
The Colonels relied on a high-powered offense in 2018 and are continuing that trend early on this season. EKU finished 5
th in NCAA DI last season with a 1.32 home run per game average and carry an even higher 1.63 per game mark this year. Five different players have two or more home runs this season.
Zoe Mihalicz leads the offensive attack with team-highs in batting average (.414) and RBI (11) while tying for the top spot in hits (12). Sammi Miller (12), Destinee Lizzmore (10) and Hannah Clark (11) all have double-digit hits this season while combining for 15 RBI and a .428% on-base percentage.
Samantha Reynoso (2-0) leads the pitching staff in ERA (2.02), innings pitched (17.1), strikeouts (14) and opponent batting average (.227).
