The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team closes out its 2019 home schedule by hosting Covenant College on Wednesday.  First serve against the Scots is set for 4:30 p.m. (E.D.T.) at the UTC Tennis Center. 

The Mocs are 12-10 overall, tying for the most wins since going 12-9 in 2013.  The last time UTC won 13 matches was a 14-9 mark in 2012.  UTC also carries a 3-3 mark in SoCon action, its most wins in league play since going 6-4 in 2013. 

"We are looking forward to this mid-week match with Covenant College after an off weekend," stated UTC head coach Chuck Merzbacher.  "This is perfect timing, right before our final SoCon match at UNCG.

"We enjoy our home courts and look forward to one more home match before we go to Greensboro and then onto Macon, Ga., for the SoCon Tourney."

Covenant has a 7-7 overall record.  The Scots are members of the NCAA Division III USA South Conference.  This match will count as an exhibition on their record, but a regular season contest for the Mocs.
