GAMEDAY: Mocs at Eastern Kentucky Sunday

The Chattanooga women's soccer team will hit the road for its first road test of the season at Eastern Kentucky. It will be the home-opener for the Colonels who fell to Ohio in the opener Thursday night on the road.

ABOUT CHATTANOOGA
Chattanooga opened the season at home with a 1-1 tie against Austin Peay. Freshman Kendra Mueller scored the equalizer in the 87th minute to force overtime. The two teams battled it out for two overtimes with no score.
 
Six different players took a shot for the Mocs with five on goal. Keeper Ashton Shields grabbed four saves while playing all 110 minutes in the net. Nineteen Chattanooga players saw playing time including one transfer and six freshmen.

ABOUT EASTERN KENTUCKY
The Colonels (0-1) fell on the road to Ohio University, 2-1, in overtime on Thursday in the regular season opener. Junior Kylie Thompson scored EKU's first goal of the season in the 68thminute.
 
Eastern has lost only three games at home over the last three seasons, going 15-3-6 at EKU Soccer Field during that span.
