MOCS vs. BULLDOGS
• UTC leads the series 7-3-1
• Last Meeting: Aug. 17, 2018 in Chattanooga: Mocs 3, Bulldogs 0
• On the road, the Mocs are 3-2 against the Bulldogs. UTC won the last road match 1-0 on Sept. 8, 2017. The last road win for A&M was a 3-2 match on Sept. 1, 2013.
• The only overtime match between the two teams ended in a double-overtime 3-3 draw in 2014 in Chattanooga.

The Mocs are 3-2-2 overall and off to their best start in the Gavin McKinney era. After starting the season with a tie at home against Austin Peay, Chattanooga won its next three matches, all by 1-0 margins. UTC fell to Georgia State and No. 9 Vanderbilt in road matches around a 1-1 tie against Alabama at home.
 
Samantha Shaw leads Chattanooga with four points on two goals. She scored the game winner in the Mocs' win over Lipscomb at home for her first collegiate goal and had the tying goal against the Crimson Tide. Hollie Massey scored the game winner on a free kick at North Alabama and Emily Szymanski led Chattanooga past Eastern Kentucky.
 
Keepers Ashton Shields and Abbey Saddler have split time in the net for Chattanooga. Saddler has earned two SoCon Defensive Player of the Week honors in the first three weeks. She is 2-0-1 with two shutouts, a .909 saves percentage and a 0.31 GAA. Shields has 17 saves on the year and started four games.

ABOUT ALABAMA A&M
The Bulldogs are 2-4 overall with identical 2-1 wins over North Alabama and Alabama-Huntsville. The Bulldogs fell 7-1 at Western Kentucky in their last outing.
 
D'Essence Burnett has a team-best five points on two goals and one assist. She assisted Makayla Rushing on the game-winner against UNA and scored the first of two goals in the Bulldogs' win over UAH. Ayanna Gooden has the other game winner for A&M.
 
Keeper Jodi Medina has played all 450 minutes in the net and has a 4.00 goals-against average. She has 35 saves for a .636 saves percentage on 111 shots faced.
