- The Mocs scored a 72-59 win over Wofford in McKenzie Arena tonight. UTC improved to 12-6 overall and 3-2 in league action. Wofford fell to 11-7 and 3-2 in the SoCon.
- Mocs snapped a five game slide in the series with the Terriers … 24-18 all-time in the rivalry that started in 1996 … 5-5 in last 10 … 14-6 at home … 21-17 in SoCon regular season games … 1-4 in the
Lamont Paris era.
- Mocs shot 29-57 (50.9%) from the field … third game in a row shooting 50%+ … longest streak since four games in a row in the middle of last season … fifth time this season at 50% or higher.Â
- UTC led 43-20 at the break … The 20 points surrendered to Wofford in the 1st half are the fewest since 14 to Alabama State at home on Nov. 20, 2017 (67-50 win) … fewest in a SoCon game since 17 at home to Mercer on Feb. 25, 2017 (64-54 loss) … fewest to Wofford since 18 in Spartanburg on Feb. 12, 2015 (56-46 win).
- Wofford was 9-32 (28.1%) from three … most threes attempted against UTC this season.
- Mocs tied a season-low with just four FT attempts (at Tennessee on Nov. 25) … made them all.Â
- Wofford only turned the ball over five times … that is the fewest forced by the Mocs this season … Wofford led points off turnovers 15-2, even though UTC only turned it over nine times.
- Sixth time this season with less than 10 turnovers for UTC … second in a row and three of the last four.
- Mocs were +12 on the glass (38-26) … largest margin against a DI since +26 against Samford on Jan. 24, 2018 … seventh-straight game leading the battle of the boards … longest run since seven in a row midway through the 2016-17 season.  Â

Ramon Vila score in the paint at the 17:25 mark.
- Mocs led 57-31 with 12:45 left, following another Vila score inside … Wofford then went on an 18-4 run over the next seven minutes to cut the lead to 61-49 on a Trevor Stump dunk with 5:53 left to play … that was as close as it would get the rest of the way.Â
