The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team hits the road for a Saturday match at Austin Peay this weekend. The Mocs take on the Governors at 2:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) in Clarksville, Tenn.
UTC is 2-01 overall, including 6-1 wins over Appalachian State and Union College on Sunday. Chattanooga opened the season with a 6-1 loss at Alabama on Saturday, Jan. 15.

Niklas Gerdes became the first Moc in seven years to earn SoCon Player of the Week honors earlier in the week. Gerdes led UTC with a 3-0 mark at No. 1 singles and a 3-0 record at No. 2 doubles on the opening weekend.
Austin Peay is 0-2 overall and hosts Lipscomb on Friday before the visit from UTC. Junior Christian Edison returns to the lineup after garnering second team All-Ohio Valley Conference honors last season.
UTC is 18-6 in the all-time series with Austin Peay. The Mocs have won two in a row and three of the last four in the series that dates back to 1978.
