The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team has two matches on the schedule this weekend. UTC hosts Presbyterian on Saturday, Feb. 1, before traveling to Birmingham, Ala., for a Sunday Doubleheader.
The match against the Blue Hose is set for a 1:00 p.m. (E.S.T.) first serve at McCallie's Strang-Voges Tennis Center. A link for live scoring is available on the men's tennis schedule page on GoMocs.com.
UTC faces UAB at 2:00 p.m. in Birmingham, Ala., at the UAB Campus Courts, on Sunday, Feb. 2. The Mocs then travel to Birmingham-Southern for a 7:00 p.m. match.
Chattanooga is 3-1 overall with wins over Appalachian State (6-1), Union (6-1) and Austin Peay (7-0). The lone loss on the schedule was the season opener at Alabama (1-6) on Jan. 18.

Presbyterian is winless in three matches. The Blue Hose have losses to Charlotte (2-5), Samford (3-4) and Mercer (3-4). Chattanooga lost last year's meeting at Presbyterian 5-2 on Jan. 27, 2019. It was the first match in the series since 1979, and UTC owns a 2-1 advantage all-time.
UAB has dropped two matches to SEC opponents, including a 7-0 loss at No. 21 Mississippi State on Jan. 12, and a 6-1 loss at Alabama on Jan. 18. This is the first time UTC has faced UAB in a spring dual since 2010. The Mocs are 10-4 in the all-time series, but UAB has won each of the last four.
Sunday is BSC's opening day, with their first match against Marian Community College at Noon. The Panthers are members of NCAA Division III's Southern Athletics Association. The Panthers were members of NCAA Division I for three seasons from 2003-06.
UTC's series with Birmingham-Southern dates back to 1925. UTC is 5-6 in the all-time series with the last match at Mocs win on Feb. 25, 2007, in Chattanooga.
