SEASON/TEAM NOTABLES | GAME NOTES
· Chattanooga suffered just its fourth losing record in a home tournament since 1994, finishing last weekend's Chattanooga Challenge with a 2-3 record. UTC picked up a pair of two-run wins over Indiana State and Marshall while dropping contests to WKU, Bowling Green and Tennessee Tech.
· Senior Aly Walker has picked up a hit in each of the first seven games this season and currently leads the Southern Conference with a .458 (11-for-24) batting average. Walker has a pair of multi-hit games this year including a 4-for-4 performance in Friday's win over Marshall, the first four-hit game of her career.
· Current sophomore and reigning SoCon Freshman of the Year honoree Emily Coltharp has been nothing short of stellar as the team's leadoff hitter. Coltharp has three multi-hit games and has recorded a hit in all seven games in 2020. She follows Walker in the SoCon batting average standings with a second-place .455 (10-for-22) mark. Coltharp leads the SoCon in on-base percentage at a .586 clip.
