- The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's basketball team dropped a 77-59 Southern Conference game to Wofford in McKenzie Arena today. UTC falls to 11-4 overall and 2-4 in league action. Wofford improves to 8-4 and 5-1 in SoCon play.Â
- After leading 35-22 at the half, the Mocs were outscored 55-24 in the second half.Â
- Mocs led 24-19 when Wofford's Nick Pringle hit a jumper with 5:15 left in the first half … UTC closed the half on a 11-3 run to take a 35-22 lead at the break.Â
- Mocs led 44-36 after a
David Jean-Baptiste jumper with 12:58 left to play … Wofford went on a 12-2 run over the next 3:40 to take a 48-46 lead on a Storm Murphy jumper with 9:18 to play.
- Last time the Mocs lost a 10-point halftime advantage was at Western Carolina, Dec. 3, 2019 (39-29) … led by 11, 45-34, with 16:52 in 2nd half. Lost 77-87.
