CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team hosted the opening day of the annual UTC Steve Baras Fall Invite on Friday afternoon and amassed a total of eight wins in a pair of hidden duals against Tennessee Tech and North Alabama inside the UTC Tennis Complex.  
 
The team picked up four wins apiece in each of the matches, both including two wins in doubles and two wins in singles. Sophomore Jordan McClure went a perfect 2-0 in singles action while Ryan Mudre went 2-0 in doubles, once partnered with Jacob Marshall and once with McClure.

Kerim Hyatt and Simon Labbe teamed up twice on Friday in double's competition and went an even 1-1, pulling out a tight 7-6 (7-4) victory over Tennessee Tech's Carlos Vicente and Rafael Tosetto. Quinten Nevenhoven and Bo Nash rallied for a thrilling 7-6 (7-4) victory over North Alabama's Sam Tolbert and Jamie Hixby following Mudre and McClure's tandom win (7-5) over Chris Zhang and Guilherme Diniz.
