Men’s Tennis Wraps Up Day One at Belmont Invite

NASHVILLE — The Chattanooga Mocs men's tennis team saw a pair of doubles victories against in-state foe Tennessee Tech on the first day of the Belmont Invite Friday afternoon.

Jacob Marshall and Ryan Mudre secured a 6-4 decision over the duo of Carlos Vicente and Rafael Tosetto while Quinten Nevenhoven and Jordan McClure earned a 6-3 win over Andre Rodeia and Elias Grubert.

"I really liked our doubles play today and we continued good play in singles," said head coach Chuck Merzbacher

"We have a lot to build on. We are getting good match play, and that helps with each team member's development."

Results from the Belmont Invite will be posted following the conclusion of each day's action at GoMocs.com.
