Women's Tennis Travels to Georgia Southern Shootout

CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs women's tennis program is set to compete again and will travel to the Georgia Southern Shootout this weekend, Saturday and Sunday October 9-10, in Statesboro, Ga., held at the Wallis Tennis Center.
Chattanooga was originally planned to compete on Friday, but due to impending weather, the team will just see action on Saturday and Sunday. The Mocs already had two previous cancellations on its fall slate due to inclement weather.
UTC last competed in the Stetson Invite, held in DeLand, Fla., September 24-26. The team impressed with a perfect 12-0 record between singles and doubles on the second day of the Invite.
All results from the day's action in Statesboro will be made available at GoMocs.com following the conclusion of play.
