GENERAL
- The Chattanooga Mocs ran away with a 100-39 win over Covenant in McKenzie Arena.
- Largest crowd at the Roundhouse since 9,234 came to the Davidson game on Jan. 28, 2009...special thanks to all 7,000 of the 3rd-5th graders joining us from Hamilton County schools providing an exceptional decibel level & serenading the adults with SpongeBob SquarePants.
- 1,364-1,107 in season No. 103…45th campaign as a DI program with an 818-538 ledger.
- 5-0 for the seventh time in school history…four of those continued to 6-0 including last year's record start of 9-0.
- 17 straight non-conference wins…also 16-game home non-conference win streak.
- Second straight year with a 3-0 start…60-43 all-time on Game 5 of the campaign.
- First game ever played for the program on Nov. 23.
- 61-point win is largest margin since 119-56 (63) triumph over Covenant on Nov. 8, 2013 to open the Will Wade era.
- 39 points are the fewest allowed since Nov. 21, 2011 giving up 36 that night to Warren Wilson (the school not the person).
- 16 first half points for the Scots are the fewest allowed in a half since 14 by Alabama State on Nov. 20, 2017.
- 21-2 advantage on points off turnovers…+6 turnover margin forcing 13 and giving up just seven.
- 23 assists are a season high.
- 56.9 percent shooting making 41 of 72 attempts….last time the Mocs made 40 or more FG in a game was two seasons ago with 40 in a romp over Samford on Jan. 11, 2020.
- UTC is ranked No. 12 in the Collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Top 25.

Grant Ledford led six in double figures with a game-high 18 points…6-10 from the field and 4-7 from 3pt range while make 2-3 at the free throw line.

Josh Ayeni claimed a double-double, his first as a Moc, with 14 points and 10 rebounds in 15:30 of playing time.

Malachi Smith chipped in 14 points, six rebounds, six assists (game high) and three steals…averaging 15.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists and 2.0 steals in the early going.
- Silvio DeSousa had 14 points and nine rebounds…7-12 shooting for the big man.

Darius Banks delighted the youthful crowd with several highlight reel dunks…13 points on the day.

Avery Diggs came off the bench for 13 points, five rebounds and three assists…all came in just 17:28.
