- The Chattanooga Mocs lost their first of the 2021-22 season 68-66 against College of Charleston on Saturday afternoon inside McKenzie Arena…Mocs are now 5-1, while the Cougars move to 4-2.
- 1,364-1,108 in season No. 103…45th campaign as a DI program with an 818-539 ledger.
- 5-1 for the 17th time in school history…joined the 1930 and 1987-88 squads in losing game six after 5-0 starts.

- 28 of the prior 31 meetings came with CofC as a member of the Southern Conference. This is the first non-conference matchup between the two since Dec. 30, 1994, a 56-54 win in the finals of the Dr Pepper Classic.
- During CofC's 15 seasons in the SoCon, the Cougars won six division titles and one SoCon Tournament in 1999, their first season in the league. The Mocs claimed five division crowns and two SoCon Tourneys with subsequent trips to the NCAA Tournament over that span.
