- The Chattanooga Mocs dropped a 60-55 Southern Conference contest at UNCG today.  The Mocs fall to 18-6 overall and 9-6 in conference action.  The league-leading Spartans remain in first place in the SoCon race at 11-4 in conference action and 16-7 overall. 

- Sophomore Malachi Smith led all scorers with 16 points.  Junior KC Hankton had 13 and senior David Jean-Baptiste added 11. 

- Mocs had their six-game winning streak snapped.

- Mocs led 34-26 at the break. 

- UTC shot 13-26 (50.0%) from the field and 8-15 (53.3%) from three in the first half … 6-28 (21.4%) from the field and 3-16 (18.8%) from three in the second half.

- UTC allowed 12 2^nd chance points in the second half on 10 offensive rebounds.

- 55 points are the second-fewest scored this season for UTC (53 vs. ETSU on 2/15).

- Mocs were 6-6 from the FT line … all in the second half … fewest attempts this season … fewest since shooting two in a 91-68 win at The Citadel on 2/19/2020. 

- UNCG outscored the Mocs 34-8 in the paint.

- 14-5 in single-digit margin games.
