CHATTANOOGA --- The Chattanooga Mocs softball team plays away from home for the first time this season, traveling to Atlanta, Ga., to face Georgia State in a doubleheader on Saturday. First pitch in game one is set for 4:00 p.m. ET.

Chattanooga (4-9) looks to snap a five-game losing skid after falling 10-0 (5) to EKU on Wednesday night. Georgia State (10-8) enters the weekend winners of two of its last three following a 1-0 loss to No. 18 Georgia on Wednesday.

Freshman
Kailey Snell (Murfreesboro, Tenn.) leads the team and ranks sixth in the Southern Conference with a .371 (13-for-35) batting average this season. Snell heads into the weekend riding a seven-game hit streak after recording the Mocs lone hit on Wednesday night.

Chattanooga has been searching for answers at the plate during the five-game skid, recording just 14 hits during that span. The Mocs have had three hits or less in four of the five contests and has been shutout in three-straight.
UP NEXT
Following Saturday's doubleheader, Chattanooga returns home to host Marshall in a three-game series Saturday and Sunday inside Jim Frost Stadium. Saturday's doubleheader and Sunday's finale both kick off at 1 p.m. ET.
