The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga men's tennis team hosts Tennessee Tech on Tuesday, March 16.  UTC welcomes the Golden Eagles to the UTC Tennis Center for a 2:30 p.m. (E.D.T.) dual in Chattanooga.

A link for live scoring is available on the men's tennis schedule page on GoMocs.com. Rain is in the forecast for Tuesday, so be sure to check GoMocs.com and the men's tennis twitter account (@GoMocsMTennis) for any updates and schedule changes.

The Mocs are 4-5 overall and winners of five in a row, including Sunday's Southern Conference opening sweep at The Citadel.  Tennessee Tech has won two in a row and are 2-5 overall.  They have wins over Kennesaw State (4-3) and Radford (4-3) and all five losses have come to teams from the SEC and ACC.

"Tennessee Tech is the perennial OVC Champions each year and they have always been a very good team as the spring moves along," stated Chattanooga head coach Chuck Merzbacher.  "We've had some very close matches with them the last two years, but we have yet to get that fourth point.

"We know we'll have to play well and compete well in this always spirited rivalry. A complete match will be needed from doubles to singles."

UTC is 36-26 in the all-time series with Tennessee Tech that dates back to 1940, including a 21-11 mark at home.  The Golden Eagles have won three in a row and five of the last six meetings.  Last year's battle was a 5-2 Tech in in Cookeville on March 1.
