CHATTANOOGA --- After seeing its home opener washed out on Tuesday, the Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team returns to action Friday at North Alabama for a non-conference doubleheader beginning at 3:00 p.m. ET.
 
Chattanooga (0-3) last competed at the "Day of Duals" tri-match at No. 18 Georgia State last Wednesday. The shorthanded Mocs battled against the Panthers, Coastal Carolina and Mercer.
 
UTC continues to compete with a limited roster due to the rescheduled indoor volleyball championship season this spring. In Friday's match, the team will have to forfeit two pairs.
 
"We're excited to get back on the sand and compete against a quality opponent in North Alabama," said head coach Darin Van Horn.
 
"It's exciting to see the strides this team and program has made over the last few weeks while being shorthanded. We look forward to continuing that on Friday."

*With the indoor volleyball championship currently being played during the spring season, the beach volleyball roster will be limited in numbers upon completion of the indoor season.
