MOCS LOOK TO SNAP RECORD SKID
•
Chattanooga enters the weekend riding an 11-game losing streak, the longest skid in the program's single season history and one shy of tying the most overall (2013-14). UTC's last victory came back on February 25 where the Mocs secrued a doubleheader sweep over Tennessee Tech. TTU avenged the loss on Wednesday with a 7-0 shutout over UTC.
COLTHARP STEADY AT LEADOFF SPOT
• Junior
Emily Coltharp continues to impress at the plate, leading the team this season in hits (17), batting average (.327), runs (11) and OBP (.435).
Coltharp has recorded a hit in five of her last six games, going a combined 8-for-17 (.471) over that span.
Coltharp's career .360 batting average currently ranks 7th all-time in program history while her .449 career OBP mark ranks 3rd.
LACK OF RUN PRODUCTION HURTING
•
Chattanooga has been shutout on offense six different times this season in the first 19 games. The six shutouts are the most in a single season since 2018. The Mocs have scored just 65 runs this year, ranking last in the Southern Conference.
