CHATTANOOGA --- Following three-straight wins to wrap up Ohio Valley Conference play last weekend, the Chattanooga Mocs beach volleyball team gets set to host Jacksonville State for its final home matches of the season in a Thursday doubleheader beginning at 4:00 p.m. ET inside the UTC Sports Complex.
 
Chattanooga (4-7, 3-1 OVC) capped off the inaugural "OVC Weekend at JSU" with three-straight victories between Saturday and Sunday. After falling 3-2 to Morehead State, the Mocs rattled off victories against Austin Peay (3-2), UT Martin (4-1) and EKU (5-0).
 
Jacksonville State (1-3, 1-3 OVC) enters the matches on Thursday looking to snap a three-match skid following an opening victory over EKU (4-1) on Saturday. JSU dropped tight 3-2 decisions to Morehead State, UT Martin and Austin Peay to close out the weekend.
 
The No. 1 pairing of senior Baylee Young and freshman Jordan Krege have won eight-straight matchups playing as the Mocs top duo. For their efforts, the pair was named the Ohio Valley Conference's Co-Pair of the Week on Tuesday.
 
The program will recognize the unfortunately short, but very successful, career of Young for Senior Day festivities. Young joined the program as the first-ever "beach only" student-athlete ahead of the COVID-shortened 2019 season.
