CHATTANOOGA---It's home for back-to-back weeks for the 9th-ranked Chattanooga Mocs. The stretch starts this Saturday as VMI visits Finley Stadium. The Mocs sit in third-place place at 2-0 in the Southern Conference, while the Keydets bring an 0-2 league mark.
Â
The Mocs are just a half-game off the pace in league race. Last week's bye puts the squad behind Mercer and Samford at 3-0. The Keydets are coming off a 44-21 home loss to ETSU.
Â
Chattanooga is paced by a pair of juniors in running back
Ailym Ford on offense and edge
Jay Person along the defensive front. Ford averages 105.6 yards per game on the ground, while Person holds the league's top sack (6.0) and tackles for loss (10.0) numbers.
Â
VMI comes to the Scenic City for the first time since 2018. The Keydets scored 37 points and threw for 306 yards in last season's overtime loss in Lexington.
Â
Saturday's broadcast is on ESPN+ and the Mocs Sports Network. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.

Preston Hutchinson on being back in Finley Stadium:
"The experiences I had at Finley for our two home games were great, and it feels like it's been a while. It feels like it's been more than a month since we've been there. So I'm just super excited to get around our fans and around our colors again."
Â
Devonnsha Maxwell on the challenge playing VMI:
"They play hard for 60 minutes and don't stop coming at you on either side of the ball. You have to be disciplined. We just need lock in and play as hard as they play."
