2) Details
Saturday is the start of the 6-game dash to the end of the regular season. All six contests are in SoCon play. The Mocs are 2-0 in the conference standings. That's in third place, a half-game behind the duo of Mercer and Samford at 3-0.

Added detail, there are several road closures downtown that could affect travel to Finley Stadium. Riverfront Parkway is closed from MLK to West 19th Street to southbound traffic. Other potential issues come at Chestnut Street between 7th and MLK as well as Carter Street between 11th and 13th.

3) History
28th meeting in the series. Mocs lead it 17-9-1, 16-8-1 in SoCon matchups. This is the first matchup in Finley Stadium between the two programs since 2018.

4) Third Down Withholding
Defense held ETSU without a first down for 19 straight plays. Longest stretch since 20 in a row against Shorter on Sept. 1, 2016. Most against a DI opponent since Sept. 26, 2015 at Presbyterian with 19 consecutive as well. That came on a pass interference call. It was the only Blue Hose first down in the final 36+ minutes.

That effort limited the Bucs to 1 of 14 on third downs for the game, 0 of 8 in the second half. For the season, the good guys allow just 32.4 percent (23/71) on third down conversions, a meager 20.6 percent (7/34) in the second half.

5) 3 Notes to Know
- Defensive front has four student-athletes with three or more sacks contributions: Jay Person (6.0), Devonnsha Maxwell (3.5), Ben Brewton (3.0) & John Prince (2.5). There are five student-athletes with multiple TFLs: Person (10.0), Maxwell (5.5), Prince (3.5), Brewton (3.0) & Marlon Taylor (2.5).
- Ailym Ford has 1,160 yards on 212 carries with 13 touchdowns in 11 games at Finley Stadium.
- The Mocs numbers against FCS opposition: +616 total yards (412.5/258.5), +299 rushing (169.3/94.5), +317 passing (243.3/164.0) & +84 scoring (33.5/12.5).
